Antalya Transfer Destinations: Belek, Side, Kemer, Alanya

The city of Antalya and its beaches are the closest destinations to the airport, and the drive is short:

• Lara (≈20 min) – a long sandy beach east of the city, lined with large hotels.
• Kundu (≈26 min) – the continuation of Lara towards the east, known for its big resort hotels.
• Kaleiçi (≈25 min) – the historic old town with its harbour, narrow streets and small boutique hotels. Some lanes are pedestrian, so your driver drops you at the nearest point a vehicle can reach.
• Konyaaltı (≈35 min) – the long pebble beach west of the centre, with the Taurus Mountains as a backdrop.

These short city routes are ideal for late arrivals, weekend trips and families who want to reach the pool or beach quickly.

Belek (≈40 min from AYT) is the golf capital of the Turkish Riviera, with many golf courses and large all-inclusive resorts between pine forests and a wide sandy beach. Next to it lie Kadriye, on the western side towards Antalya, and Boğazkent, a little further east near the mouth of the Köprüçay river.

• Popular with families and golf groups: mention golf bags when you book so we send a vehicle with enough space.
• Hotels in this area are spread over a long stretch of coast, so always give us the exact hotel name.
• Groups of 8 or more travel together in the Mercedes Sprinter (8–16).

Side (≈75 min from AYT) combines an ancient town on a small peninsula with long beaches on both sides. The wider Manavgat area is one of the biggest resort zones on the coast, and it helps to know which side your hotel is on:

• West of Side: Kumköy, Çolaklı and Evrenseki, with resort hotels along the beach towards Belek.
• East of Side: Sorgun, with hotels set in pine forest, and Titreyengöl, around the small lake of the same name.
• Manavgat town: the market town inland, on the river of the same name.

Whichever village you stay in, the transfer is door to door, without stops at other hotels.

Alanya (≈2 h from AYT, ≈40 min from Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport) is a lively city under a castle on a rocky headland, with beaches on both sides. The coast around it is lined with resort villages:

• West of Alanya: Okurcalar, Avsallar and Konaklı, the first resorts you reach when coming from Antalya.
• East of Alanya: Mahmutlar and Kestel, with many apartments and residential complexes.

If you have a choice of flights, compare the two airports: Gazipaşa-Alanya is much closer to the eastern resorts, while Antalya often has more flights. We drive from both.

South-west of Antalya, the road follows a narrow coast between the sea and the Taurus Mountains. Kemer itself is about 70 minutes from AYT and Tekirova about 85 minutes. Along the way you will find:

• Beldibi and Göynük – the first resorts, before Kemer town.
• Kemer – the centre of the area, with its marina and promenade.
• Kiriş, Çamyuva and Tekirova – quieter resorts south of Kemer, many hotels set among pine trees.
• Olympos and Çıralı – small, nature-focused places further south, reached by a side road towards the sea.

The mountain road is scenic but winding in places, which is one more reason to travel with a driver who knows it.

Further west the coast becomes wilder and the villages smaller. Kaş (≈3 h from AYT) is a charming harbour town facing the Greek island of Meis, and Kalkan (≈3 h 20) is a hillside village with many private villas. Fethiye lies at the western end of this coast. It is reached from Antalya over a longer route, but Dalaman Airport is a practical alternative, and we drive from there as well.
