Kemer is a resort town on the western side of the Gulf of Antalya, squeezed between the sea and the steep, pine-covered slopes of the Taurus Mountains. The mountain backdrop rising almost straight from the water is what most visitors remember, together with the clear sea and the mainly pebbly beaches.

The town itself has a marina, a lively centre with shops and restaurants, and a seafront park with a beach. The wider Kemer area stretches along the coast through a chain of resort villages, from Beldibi and Göynük in the north to Kiriş, Çamyuva and Tekirova in the south. It suits families, couples and nature lovers who want a beach holiday with forests, hiking and boat trips close at hand.

The distance is roughly 58 km and the transfer normally takes about 70 minutes. From the airport the route crosses the city to Konyaaltı and then follows the main coastal highway south-west, with the sea on one side and the mountains on the other, passing through several tunnels before reaching Kemer.

How your arrival works:

• We follow your flight, so the driver is there when you actually land, early or late.
• After passport control and baggage claim, your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name.
• He helps with your luggage and walks you to the vehicle.

Journey times can vary in the summer season and at busy times in the city, so the figure above is a typical drive rather than a guarantee.

Kemer offers everything from small family-run hotels in the town centre to large beach resorts in the surrounding villages. Beldibi and Göynük are the closest to the airport; Kemer town is in the middle; Kiriş, Çamyuva and Tekirova lie further south and add a little more driving time.

For your departure, plan to be at the airport about 2.5 to 3 hours before an international flight, and check your airline's advice. With a drive of around 70 minutes, a pick-up about 4 to 4.5 hours before departure is sensible, a little earlier from Tekirova. For a 15:00 flight, for example, we would usually collect you in Kemer at about 10:30 to 11:00.
