The trade-off is choice: GZP has far fewer flights than Antalya, and many routes are seasonal. Check both airports when you plan your trip.

GZP is especially practical for the eastern side of Alanya and the towns between Alanya and the airport:

• Alanya town: about 40 minutes, for Kleopatra Beach, the harbour and the central hotels.

• Kestel: between Alanya centre and Mahmutlar.
• Kargıcak: hillside villas and apartments east of Alanya.
• Demirtaş: quieter resorts further towards Gazipaşa.
• Gazipaşa town: just a short ride from the terminal.

GZP is ideal for Alanya and the east, but Antalya Airport is often the better choice when:

• Your hotel is in Side, Belek or Kemer: from AYT, Belek is about 40 minutes, Side about 75 and Kemer about 70, all much closer than from Gazipaşa.
• You stay in Lara, Kundu or the city: these areas are only about 20–35 minutes from AYT.
