The long coastal drive to Alanya
The Alanya transfer covers about 125 km and normally takes around 2 hours. The route follows the D400 coastal highway east, past Serik and Manavgat and the turn-off for Side, then along the shore through Okurcalar and Konaklı until Alanya's castle rock comes into view above the bay.
Summer traffic around Manavgat and the busy stretches near Alanya itself are the main factors that can add time. Hotels in Mahmutlar, Kargıcak or further east lie beyond the centre, so add some minutes for those. Night arrivals are usually quicker because the road is calmer.
