Gazipaşa Airport to Alanya Transfer: Times, Areas, Tips

Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport lies on the coast south-east of Alanya. The road runs west along the sea, so the districts on the eastern side of Alanya are reached first. Typical times, before high-season traffic:

• Kargıcak: ≈ 25 km, ≈ 30 min
• Mahmutlar: ≈ 30 km, ≈ 35 min
• Oba: ≈ 38 km, ≈ 45 min
• Alanya centre: ≈ 40 km, ≈ 50 min
• Konaklı: ≈ 54 km, ≈ 60 min

Summer traffic through Alanya town can add time, especially for Konaklı, which lies on the far western side of the centre.

The comparison is simple for anyone staying in the Alanya area. From Antalya Airport (AYT), the same places are a long drive:

• Kargıcak: ≈ 145 km, ≈ 140 min from AYT vs ≈ 30 min from GZP
• Mahmutlar: ≈ 137 km, ≈ 132 min vs ≈ 35 min
• Alanya centre: ≈ 125 km, ≈ 120 min vs ≈ 50 min
• Konaklı: ≈ 117 km, ≈ 120 min vs ≈ 60 min

The further east your hotel, the larger the gain. For resorts west of Konaklı, such as Avsallar or Okurcalar, the difference shrinks and Antalya Airport may be just as practical, especially as it has far more flights.

That is the catch: Gazipaşa is a smaller airport with fewer routes, and some of them may run only in summer. Check which airlines fly there from your city before you decide. Gazipaşa's terminal is compact, so the walk from the aircraft to the exit is short. After passport control and baggage claim, your driver waits in the arrivals area with a name sign.

• Flight tracking: the driver follows your real landing time.
• Free waiting if the flight is delayed; you do not need to call.
• Door to door: straight to your hotel or apartment, with no stops for other passengers.

If you are renting an apartment in Mahmutlar or Kargıcak, send the exact address or a map pin when booking. Many residential complexes look alike from the road, and a pin saves time at night.
