Kundu Transfer from Antalya Airport

Kundu is the resort zone that continues east from Lara along the same sandy coastline, between the eastern edge of Antalya and the mouth of the Aksu river. It is often grouped with Lara, but it has a character of its own: instead of city streets, the area is made up almost entirely of large hotel complexes set side by side along the beach.

Kundu is best known for its big themed resorts, several of which are built around famous landmarks and palaces, which makes the skyline here unlike anywhere else on the Turkish Riviera. Guests are mostly families and couples on all-inclusive holidays who want a short airport transfer, a long beach and plenty to do without leaving the hotel.

The distance is roughly 18 km and the transfer usually takes about 26 minutes. From the airport the route heads south-east past the edge of the city and joins the beach road that runs behind the hotels, so you reach your resort without passing through the busy centre.

Your arrival step by step:

• We monitor your flight number, so your driver knows about any delay or early landing.
• After baggage claim, look for your driver in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name.
• He helps load your luggage into the vehicle, which is parked close to the terminal.
• The transfer is private: just you and your group, straight to your resort.

Since the drive is short, Kundu is an easy choice for families with small children and for anyone landing late at night.

Almost all accommodation in Kundu is in the hotel strip along the beach. The resorts are large, so the entrances can be some distance apart even when the hotels look close together on a map. Knowing the exact entrance matters, and our drivers are familiar with the area.

Kundu sits between Antalya and Belek, which puts many well-known sights within easy reach by private car:

• The ancient city of Perge, with its stadium and colonnaded street, is just inland.
• Aspendos and its Roman theatre lie a little further east.
• The Lower Düden waterfall in neighbouring Lara drops straight into the sea.
• The Land of Legends theme park is in Kadriye, on the way to Belek.
• Kaleiçi, Antalya's old town, makes a relaxed evening or half-day outing.

When you leave, plan to be at the airport about 2.5 to 3 hours before an international flight, and check your airline's advice. With a drive of around half an hour, a pick-up about 3.5 hours before departure works well for most guests. For a 16:00 flight, for example, we would collect you from your resort at about 12:30.
