Kiriş is a resort area on the southern side of Kemer, between Kemer town and Çamyuva. It is best known for its long, open beach of fine pebbles and clear water, backed by pine woods and the steep slopes of the Taurus Mountains. Unlike Kemer centre, Kiriş has no busy main street: the area is made up mostly of large beach resorts set in wide gardens, with a few smaller hotels in between.

That gives Kiriş a relaxed, self-contained feel. Guests here are often families who want space and a broad beach, couples looking for a quiet holiday, and travellers who like the idea of spending most of their time at the resort while having Kemer's marina and shops close by. The mountain backdrop, with Tahtalı rising above the coast, is one of the things people remember most.

The transfer from Antalya Airport (AYT) to Kiriş covers about 62 km and takes around 75 minutes in normal traffic. After leaving the airport, the driver goes around Antalya city and joins the coastal highway towards Kemer. The road runs past Konyaaltı beach, then through tunnels and along the cliffs to Beldibi and Göynük, bypasses Kemer town and continues a few minutes further south to the Kiriş turn-off.

Your driver waits for you in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name, helps with suitcases and pushchairs and leads you to the car park. Because we track every flight, an early or late landing is no problem; the pick-up time moves with your flight and waiting on delays costs nothing. The price is fixed per vehicle before you travel, with no night surcharge and no luggage fee.

Most hotels in Kiriş stand directly on the beach, each with its own entrance from the coastal access road, while a handful of smaller hotels and holiday homes sit a little further inland. The driver drops you at the main entrance of your hotel, so you only have a few steps to reception. If you are moving from one hotel to another during your holiday, for example from Kiriş to a hotel in Kemer, Tekirova or Belek, we can arrange that drive too at a fixed price agreed in advance.

Kiriş makes it easy to explore the Kemer coast. A short drive away you will find:

• Kemer town with its marina, Moonlight Beach and evening promenade;
• the cable car to the summit of Tahtalı Mountain, with wide views over the coast;
• the ancient city of Phaselis, with its harbours among the pines;
• Ulupınar, a shady mountain valley with streams and trout restaurants;
• the beaches of Çıralı and the ruins of Olympos further south.

On departure day, count on about 75 minutes to the airport and aim to arrive roughly 2.5–3 hours before an international flight; check your airline's advice. For a flight at 12:00, for instance, a pick-up from Kiriş at around 07:45 works well. The driver collects you at your hotel entrance and helps load the luggage.
