From the far west to the east of Antalya

You first follow the winding coastal road through Demre, Finike and Kumluca, continue past Kemer, and then cross Antalya from west to east to reach the hotels along Lara beach.

Kaş is ideal for snorkelling, boat trips and quiet evenings by the harbour, but its shoreline is mostly rocky. Lara offers the opposite: a long sandy beach with gently shelving water and large resort hotels, popular with families who want a few easy beach days. Lara is also the part of Antalya closest to the airport, which makes it a practical place for the last nights of a trip.
