Kaş to Kemer Transfer

Kaş and Kemer are both on the western side of the Antalya region, so this is one of the more manageable inter-resort drives: about 141 km, usually around 2 hours 15 minutes. From Kaş the road heads east along the sea to Demre and Finike, continues through Kumluca and then runs north between the Taurus mountains and the coast to Kemer. You reach Kemer before Antalya, so there is no city traffic to deal with.

Parts of the road are winding, with views over bays and pine-covered hills. Travel time depends mainly on the season and on traffic near Kemer in summer, so treat the figure above as a guide rather than a fixed schedule.

Plenty of visitors like to see two sides of the coast in one trip: first the harbour, boat tours and Lycian ruins around Kaş, then a few days in Kemer, where the beaches sit at the foot of the mountains and there is more choice of resort hotels, restaurants and evening life.

The key is timing. Most hotels ask you to check out around midday and rooms at the next hotel are usually ready in the afternoon. A pick-up in Kaş late in the morning often fits neatly between the two. If you would rather leave early, ask your Kemer hotel about a luggage room or early check-in. Everything you have, from suitcases to snorkelling gear, goes with you in one vehicle.
