Kalkan to Lara Transfer

The transfer from Kalkan to Lara is about 225 km and takes roughly 3 hours 40 minutes (about 220 minutes). The first part follows the coastal road east via Kaş, Demre, Finike and Kumluca to Kemer; the last part crosses Antalya from the west side of the city to Lara on the east.

That city crossing is the part most affected by traffic. Weekday rush hours and summer evenings can add time, while a morning departure from Kalkan usually means a smoother run through town. Tell us your preferred arrival time and we suggest a pick-up time that fits.

Kalkan is small, hilly and peaceful, with rocky bays and a little harbour. Lara is a different holiday: a long sandy beach with gentle entry into the water, large resort hotels and the city within easy reach. Families with young children often like to finish a trip here after the Lycian coast.

Lara also lies close to Antalya Airport, so it is a practical place for the last nights of a holiday. Many guests spend the main part of their stay in Kalkan and move to Lara for two or three days before flying home, which keeps the final airport run short.

When you change hotels, plan around check-out and check-in. Ask your Lara hotel about early check-in or a luggage room, as rooms are often ready only in the afternoon.

The transfer is private – the vehicle is yours alone, with no other passengers and no stops at other hotels. Choose by group size:

• Minivan – 1 to 6 passengers
• VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito – 1 to 7 passengers, more legroom for a long drive
• Mercedes Sprinter – 8 to 16 passengers

Suitcases, buggies and beach gear all travel in the same vehicle, with no luggage fee. Child seats and boosters are free on request. You pay a fixed price per vehicle, not per person (see the price table above), and there is no night surcharge.
