Kaleiçi to Tekirova Transfer

Many of Kaleiçi's small hotels and guesthouses sit on lanes too narrow for a vehicle, so the driver meets you at the nearest point a car can reach, often only a few steps away. When you book, send us the exact name and address of where you are staying; we will tell you where to meet and can plan around heavy suitcases, a pushchair or older travellers.

The transfer is about 64 km and takes around an hour. The car crosses the city westwards, runs along the length of Konyaaltı beach and then follows the D400 south, where the mountains drop steeply to the sea. After Beldibi, Göynük and Kemer comes Tekirova, the quiet southern end of the coast, with its forests and beaches at the foot of the Taurus range.

Expect a little more time on summer weekends and late afternoons, when the coast road is at its busiest.

Kaleiçi is perfect for a few days of history, harbour views and evening strolls; Tekirova is made for slow days by the sea. Combining the two gives you a city break and a beach holiday in one trip. Check-out in the old town is usually in the morning and the room in Tekirova may not be ready until the afternoon, so ask the hotel whether you can leave bags or check in early, and choose your pick-up time to suit.

Some guests go the other way for the day: a beach day near ancient Phaselis, with an agreed time for the ride back to Kaleiçi. Book both directions at once so the return is fixed.
