Kaleiçi to Kadriye Transfer

The transfer from Kaleiçi to Kadriye covers about 35 km and usually takes around 40 minutes. Once out of the old town, the car crosses the city and heads east on the D400, past the airport area, before turning towards the sea. Kadriye is the western part of Belek, the resort area closest to the airport, with golf courses, large resort hotels and a long sandy beach.

Getting out of the city is the slowest part; at rush hour or on summer evenings allow a few extra minutes. Late at night the drive is usually quick.

Kaleiçi is Antalya's historic old town, with narrow, winding lanes and many streets closed to cars. The driver therefore waits at the nearest point a vehicle can reach – usually at the edge of the old town, close to your guesthouse or the restaurant where you are. If you are leaving with suitcases, allow a few minutes to wheel them over the cobblestones, or ask your hosts for a hand.

Some guests start their holiday with a few nights in Kaleiçi and then move to a resort in Kadriye. Check-out in the old town is usually in the morning and rooms in Kadriye are mostly ready in the afternoon, so ask your new hotel about a luggage room or early check-in. All your luggage travels with you in one vehicle.

Others stay in Kadriye and come into Kaleiçi for a day of sightseeing or a dinner by the harbour. Book both directions together and agree the time for the ride back to your resort. There is no night surcharge, so a late return costs the same.
