Getting out of the old town

Many of these streets are too tight for a vehicle or closed to traffic, so your driver waits at the nearest accessible point to your accommodation. The drive east to Kundu
From Kaleiçi to Kundu it is about 24 km, normally around 30 minutes by car. The route leaves the city centre heading east, passes through the Lara district and ends at Kundu, the eastern end of the Lara coast, where large resort hotels sit along a long sandy beach. On weekday mornings and summer evenings the city traffic is heavier, so the trip can take a little longer.
