Kaleiçi to Side Transfer

Kaleiçi is a maze of narrow, often sloping lanes, and many of its small hotels cannot be reached by car. For that reason your driver waits at the nearest accessible point to your hotel. When you book, tell us the name of your hotel and we will agree a clear meeting place with you. If you have heavy suitcases, ask your hotel in advance whether staff can help you carry them out to the car.

From there the drive is simple. The car leaves the city to the east, passes the Aksu area and follows the D400 past the turn-offs for Belek towards Manavgat. Side lies just beyond, on a small peninsula with long beaches on both sides.

The transfer covers about 75 km and usually takes around 75 minutes. Getting out of the city centre is often the slowest part, especially at weekday rush hour or on summer evenings, while the main road towards Side generally flows well. In high season, allow a little extra if you need to arrive by a certain time.

The car is booked for your party only. There is no shared shuttle, no picking up other guests and no stops at other hotels: you leave the old town and arrive at your hotel in Side together with all your luggage.

Starting a holiday with a few nights in Kaleiçi and moving on to Side for the beach is a classic combination: two historic towns, one trip. Check-out in the old town is usually in the morning and rooms in Side are often ready in the afternoon, so ask your Side hotel about a luggage room or early check-in and pick a departure time that fits.

Prefer to stay in the city? Side also works as a day trip from Kaleiçi: we drive you there for the ruins and the beach and collect you at a pick-up time agreed in advance.
