Tekirova to Side Transfer

This trip links two ends of the region. Tekirova lies at the southern tip of the Kemer coast, under the Taurus mountains; Side is far to the east, beyond Belek. The distance is about 134 km and the drive takes roughly 125 minutes – a little over two hours. On summer weekends, on changeover days and around Antalya at rush hour, plan for some extra time.

The route follows the D400: north along the Kemer coast, through Antalya, then east past the airport area and Belek until the turn towards Side. Most of it is dual carriageway, so the ride is steady and comfortable even with children on board.

The change of scenery is a big part of the appeal. After quiet days among the pines of Tekirova, Side offers a peninsula full of ancient ruins, a harbour with restaurants and long sandy beaches stretching to the west through Kumköy, Çolaklı and Evrenseki. Many hotels in the Side area lie along that coastline rather than in the old town itself, so please give us the exact hotel name when booking.

If you are staying inside the historic centre, where traffic is restricted, the car stops at the nearest point it can reach and we will tell you in advance where that is. Hotels usually ask guests to leave their room around midday and hand over new rooms in the afternoon; with a two-hour drive, a pick-up late in the morning tends to fit well. Ask your Side hotel about a luggage room or early check-in if you arrive before your room is ready.

The whole journey is private: no shared shuttle, no stops at other hotels, and all your luggage travels with you. Choose the vehicle by group size:

• Minivan – 1 to 6 passengers;
• VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito – 1 to 7 passengers, with extra legroom for a longer ride;

Child seats are free on request – tell us the children's ages when booking – and there is no luggage fee.

You can also visit Side for the day from Tekirova: the ruins, the harbour and the beach make a full day out. Book it as a trip with return and agree the pick-up time back in advance. If you are flying out later from the Side area, we can also take you to the airport.
