Tekirova to Kalkan Transfer

Tekirova and Kalkan both sit between mountains and sea, yet they feel very different. Tekirova is a resort strip of pine forest and beach hotels; Kalkan is a small hillside town of whitewashed houses above a harbour, popular with travellers who prefer villas, rooftop terraces and quiet evenings. Moving from one to the other is a natural way to see more of the coast in a single holiday.

The drive covers about 153 km and usually takes around 150 minutes. From Tekirova the road heads south-west to Kumluca, then follows the coast through Finike and Demre before winding on to Kaş and, a little further west, Kalkan.

Much of the way is a coastal road with bends, bays and wide sea views — beautiful, but slower than a motorway, and summer traffic in the towns can add time. Travelling in daylight lets you enjoy the scenery; a late-morning departure after check-out works well for most guests and brings you to Kalkan in the afternoon, when rooms are usually ready.

Kalkan's streets are steep and narrow in places; if your villa cannot be reached by car, the driver stops at the nearest accessible point.
