Tekirova to Alanya Transfer

Tekirova sits at the south-western end of the Kemer coast; Alanya, with its castle on a rocky peninsula, lies far to the east. Between them are about 195 km of road, and the drive normally takes around 170 minutes – close to three hours. Summer traffic, especially around Antalya and Manavgat, can add to that, so it is worth planning the day around the transfer.

From Tekirova the car heads north along the coastal D400 past Kemer and Beldibi into Antalya, then follows the same road east past Belek, Side and Manavgat before running along the shore towards Alanya. The mountains stay in view much of the way, and the final stretch hugs the sea.

Most guests on this route are moving from one part of their holiday to the next: a quieter week among the pines of Tekirova, then a week in Alanya with its town life, beaches and castle views. Check-out is usually around midday and new rooms are often ready in the afternoon. With nearly three hours on the road, a pick-up in the late morning normally gets you to Alanya at a good time; if you arrive early, ask the hotel about a luggage room or early check-in.

Alanya is spread out: hotels line the beaches on both sides of the castle peninsula and continue east towards Mahmutlar.
