North along the Kemer coast
The transfer from Tekirova to Konyaaltı is about 52 km and usually takes around 50 minutes. The road heads north from the southern end of the Kemer coast, past Çamyuva, Kiriş, Kemer, Göynük and Beldibi, squeezed between the Taurus mountains and the sea. It then reaches the western edge of Antalya, where Konyaaltı stretches along the bay below the mountains.
Traffic is generally light outside the summer peak; on busy days, the area around Kemer and the entry into the city can add a few minutes.
Moving to the city side
Konyaaltı is a good base for the last days of a holiday: a long pebble beach with a seafront promenade, plenty of restaurants and easy access to the city centre and the old town of Kaleiçi. Many guests spend a week in a resort hotel in Tekirova and then move here to see more of Antalya.
