Kundu to the centre: distance and timing
Kundu lies at the eastern end of the Lara coast, so reaching the city centre means driving west along the whole Lara strip and into town. The distance is about 27 km and the transfer takes roughly 35 minutes in normal traffic. City streets are busiest on weekday mornings and evenings and on summer weekends; plan a few extra minutes if you are meeting someone at a set time.
The driver meets you at your resort's main entrance at the agreed time. You ride privately — no shuttle bus collecting guests from other hotels — and get out exactly where you want to be in the centre.
A day out from your resort
All-inclusive days by the pool are wonderful, but many guests also want to see the real Antalya. Popular reasons to head into town:
- a walk through Kaleiçi, the historic old town with its narrow lanes and harbour (the car stops at the nearest accessible point);
- shopping in the city's streets and malls;
- a visit to the waterfalls, or to friends and family living in Antalya.

Ending your holiday in the city
Some travellers do it the other way round: beach first in Kundu, then a few nights in a city hotel or apartment before going home.
