Kundu to Alanya Transfer

The transfer from Kundu to Alanya covers about 120 km and usually takes just under 2 hours, around 1 hour 55 minutes. The car takes the D400 main road east, past the Belek turn-offs and the plains around Serik, through the Manavgat area and then along a coastline of smaller resorts and beaches until Alanya's castle rises above the sea.

On a drive this long, traffic in the towns along the way makes the biggest difference. In July and August the sections through Manavgat and the approach to Alanya can be slow, particularly late in the morning and in the early evening. If you need to arrive by a certain time, tell us and we will suggest a suitable departure.

Combining Kundu and Alanya gives you two holidays in one: a big beach resort close to Antalya, then a lively town with a harbour, a castle and long sandy beaches – or the same in reverse. Guests often book this route halfway through their trip.

Because the drive takes most of the morning, a pick-up soon after check-out works well. Rooms in Alanya are often ready in the afternoon, so ask your hotel about a luggage room or early check-in. All your suitcases, buggies and beach gear travel with you in the same vehicle, with no need to change transport on the way.

For a journey of this length, many couples and families prefer the extra legroom of the VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito (1–7 passengers); the Minivan (1–6) is a practical choice, and groups of 8–16 travel together in the Mercedes Sprinter. Child seats are free – just tell us the children's ages.

A day trip to Alanya is possible too, for example to visit friends, but with around two hours each way it makes for a long day. Book both legs together and agree the pick-up time for the ride back before you leave.
