Kundu to Tekirova Transfer

This transfer links the two ends of the Antalya holiday coast. Starting in Kundu on the east side, the driver crosses the city, passes the long pebble beach of Konyaaltı and then follows the D400 coastal road south-west through Beldibi, Göynük, Kemer, Kiriş and Çamyuva. Tekirova is the last resort at the southern end. In total it is about 85 km, usually around 85 minutes.

The busiest stretch is the city itself: rush hour and summer weekends can slow the crossing, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed check-in or a dinner reservation waiting for you.

Kundu is all about wide sandy beaches and big resort hotels near the city. Tekirova feels quieter: the Taurus mountains rise straight behind the village, pine forest runs down to the shore, and the ruins of ancient Phaselis lie a short distance away. Many travellers like to combine both, spending the first part of the trip on the sand and the second among the pines, or the other way round.

Whichever order you choose, the move takes a morning at most and you arrive with all your bags at the door of your new hotel.

Most hotels ask you to leave your room around midday and have rooms ready in the afternoon. A late-morning pick-up in Kundu usually fits well. If you would rather arrive early, ask your Tekirova hotel whether you can leave your luggage or check in ahead of time.
