Kundu to Kemer Transfer

The drive from Kundu to Kemer is about 71 km and usually takes around 1 hour 15 minutes. First the car crosses Antalya from east to west, passing Lara and the city, then continues past Konyaaltı onto the D400 coastal road. From there the road runs south-west between the mountains and the sea until you reach Kemer.

The city section is where time can be gained or lost. Weekday rush hours and summer evenings in Antalya are the slowest, while a late-morning or early-afternoon departure is usually smooth. The coastal road itself can be busy on summer weekends. Tell us if you need to arrive by a certain time and we will plan the pick-up accordingly.

Kundu and Kemer feel like two different holidays. Kundu offers a wide sandy beach and big resort hotels close to the city; Kemer has pebble coves, pine-covered slopes and a compact town with a marina. Many guests spend the first part of their trip in one and the second in the other.

For the hotel change, keep in mind that check-out is usually in the morning while rooms in Kemer are often ready in the afternoon. A late-morning pick-up fits well, and your Kemer hotel can tell you about a luggage room or early check-in. All suitcases, buggies and sports gear travel with you in one vehicle.

Kemer also works as a day out from Kundu – a walk around the town and marina, the mountain scenery or a visit to friends staying on that side of the bay. Book the return at the same time and agree a pick-up time; with well over an hour each way, it is worth planning the day in advance.
