Along the Lycian coast
Kalkan sits between Kaş and Fethiye, so this is a pleasant, manageable drive: about 80 km, usually around 85 minutes. The coastal road heads away from Kalkan's hillside bay and passes the Patara beach area before continuing on to Fethiye. In high summer, the approach to Fethiye town and the roads towards Ölüdeniz can be slower in the late afternoon.
