The festival at a glance
The Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival (Altın Portakal Film Festivali) is one of Turkey's oldest and best-known film festivals, first held in 1963. Its name comes from the oranges the Antalya region has long been famous for, and the Golden Orange awards are among the most respected prizes in Turkish cinema.
During the festival the city fills with screenings, premieres, gala evenings and talks, and film lovers, guests and press arrive from across Turkey and abroad. The festival is usually held in autumn, but dates, venues and the programme change from year to year, so check the official programme for this year's dates and venues before you plan your trip.

Getting there from the airport and the resorts
Antalya Airport is about 15 km from the city centre, roughly 28 minutes by road depending on traffic. Your driver takes you straight to your hotel or to the festival venue.
From the resort areas around Antalya:
- Lara and Kundu: a short drive along the coast road into the city.
- Konyaaltı: on the western side of the city, close to the centre.
- Belek and Side: west along the D400 highway, past the airport.
- Kemer and Beldibi: north along the coastal road through Konyaaltı.
On busy gala evenings the streets around the venues can be crowded or partly closed, so the driver drops you at the entrance or the nearest accessible point and picks you up at the same spot.
Planning a festival day or evening
Many screenings and galas take place in the evening, so a festival day often ends late. Autumn in Antalya is usually warm in the daytime and mild in the evening; a light jacket is useful after dark. Plan to arrive early, as the city centre gets busy on gala nights.
Between screenings you can explore the city: walk through Kaleiçi, the old town with its narrow lanes and the Roman Hadrian's Gate, look down on the old harbour from the cliffs, or take a break by the sea at Konyaaltı. If you are staying at a resort, combine a festival evening with an afternoon in the city – tell us your plan and we arrange both rides.
A private car with driver for the festival
If you want to see several screenings in one day, a car with driver is often easier than looking for taxis between venues. Tell us your plan and we tell you what is possible. The pick-up time back is agreed when booking, and a late finish costs nothing extra, because there is no night surcharge.
- Minivan (VW Caravelle class): 1–6 passengers.
- VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito with leather seats: 1–7 passengers.
- Mercedes Sprinter: 8–16 passengers, for film clubs, press teams and groups.
The price is fixed per vehicle, not per person, and child seats are free on request.
From the airport to your hotel, and the trip home
On arrival your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. We track your flight, waiting is free if it is delayed, and there is no luggage fee. You go straight to your hotel in the city or on the coast, ready for the first screening.
On departure day, be at Antalya Airport 2–3 hours before an international flight; check your airline's advice. Book 24/7 via WhatsApp or the booking form and get a fixed-price quote within 1 minute. There is no prepayment, cancellation is free, and you pay in the vehicle in cash, or by card if agreed.
