Lara to Kaleiçi Transfer

Lara lies on the coast east of Antalya's centre, a long strip of sandy beach lined with large hotels. From there to Kaleiçi is only about 15 km, and the drive usually takes around 20 minutes. The route is an urban one through Antalya, so traffic matters more than distance: summer evenings, when everyone heads into town, and weekday rush hours can make it slower.

The transfer is private – just your group, straight from your Lara hotel to the old town. Because the trip is so short, it is easy to fit around hotel meal times: leave in the late afternoon, enjoy the sunset over the harbour and still be back the same evening.

Kaleiçi is the walled old town, with cobbled lanes, restored Ottoman houses, small boutique hotels and the old harbour. Many of its lanes are narrow and some are closed to cars. For a day or evening out, agree a convenient drop-off point near the old town with us. If you are moving to a guesthouse inside Kaleiçi, send the exact address: if a vehicle cannot reach the door, you are dropped at the nearest accessible street.

For hotel changes, remember that rooms are usually ready in the afternoon.

Even on a short ride, the right vehicle makes a difference, especially for families or when you carry all your luggage to a new hotel. There is no luggage fee.

Child seats are free on request; mention the children's ages when you book. A pushchair or a beach bag travels at no extra cost as well, so families can head into town without worrying about space.

Most Lara guests go to Kaleiçi for an afternoon stroll, the harbour and dinner. Book a return transfer and agree both times when booking – the pickup at your Lara hotel and the pickup back from the old town. Late returns are not more expensive, as there is no night surcharge.
