Much of the way winds along cliffs and bays, with the sea on one side and the Taurus mountains on the other. Summer traffic around Kemer and road works can add time, so allow a little flexibility in your plans for the day.

Konyaaltı is a convenient base for a city break: the long pebble beach, the seafront promenade and the old town of Kaleiçi are all close by. Kaş offers something completely different: a small harbour town, clear water, diving and a relaxed pace.
