Konyaaltı to Mahmutlar Transfer

This is one of the longer transfers along the Turkish Riviera: about 153 km, usually taking around 2 hours 15 minutes. From Konyaaltı, on the west side of Antalya, the car first crosses the city, then follows the D400 east past Belek, Manavgat and the Side area before reaching Alanya. Mahmutlar lies just beyond Alanya town, further east along the shore.

The slowest part is often the start: Antalya's city traffic at rush hour and the busy summer stretches around Manavgat and Alanya can add time. A mid-morning departure usually avoids the worst of it and gets you to Mahmutlar in good time for the afternoon.

Konyaaltı is a convenient base for a few nights in the city: the long pebble beach on one side, the old town of Kaleiçi and the shops a short ride away. Mahmutlar suits the slower part of the trip; with its long beach and many holiday apartments, it is popular with guests who stay for several weeks.

Hotel rooms are usually ready in the afternoon, so ask about a luggage room or early check-in if you arrive sooner. If you are renting an apartment, agree the key handover time with the owner and tell us – we will plan the pick-up so you arrive on time. Suitcases, pushchairs and shopping bags all travel together in one vehicle.

Many travellers make this trip to see friends or relatives who live in Mahmutlar or spend the winter there. You can book the journey there and back together and agree a pick-up time for the return to Konyaaltı, so the evening is not spent looking for a ride. The same works for business appointments in the Alanya area.

All transfers are private, with no shared shuttle. The Minivan takes 1–6 passengers, the VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito 1–7 with more legroom and comfort, and the Mercedes Sprinter 8–16. Child seats are free on request.
