Mahmutlar is a coastal district on the eastern side of Alanya, a few kilometres past the town centre, and this is where the 5-star Sun Star Resort is located. From Antalya Airport (AYT) the road runs east along the coast, past Side and Manavgat and then through Alanya. The distance is about 137 km; plan on roughly 132 minutes, a little over two hours, depending on traffic.
