Kemer to Lara is about 62 km, a drive of roughly 65 minutes in normal traffic. You leave the Kemer coast heading north, with the Taurus mountains on one side and the sea on the other, pass Beldibi and reach the western edge of Antalya near Konyaaltı. From there the route crosses the city to its eastern side, where Lara's hotels line a long sandy beach.
Because the journey goes through Antalya, city traffic makes the biggest difference: weekday rush hours and summer evenings can add time, while mid-morning and early afternoon are usually calm.
Mountains first, city beach next
Many holidaymakers start in Kemer for nature, coves and boat trips, then move to Lara for the final nights. Lara has wide sandy beaches, it is close to Antalya's shops and restaurants, and the old town of Kaleiçi is only a short ride away — handy if you want to explore the city before going home.
