Kemer to Konyaaltı Transfer

Kemer lies south-west of Antalya, squeezed between the Taurus mountains and the sea. To reach Konyaaltı, the car follows the D400 coastal road north for about 38 km, with the mountains on one side and glimpses of the water on the other. In normal traffic the ride takes around 40 minutes.

Since Konyaaltı is on the western edge of Antalya, you arrive without having to cross the busy city centre. The seafront here is a long pebble beach backed by a promenade, hotels and apartments. Summer weekends, when many locals head for the beaches south of the city, can slow the coastal road a little, so allow some extra time on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Some guests start their holiday in the quieter bays around Kemer and finish it with a few nights in Konyaaltı, within easy reach of the old town of Kaleiçi, the museums and the shops of the city. Others are staying in Kemer and simply want a day in Antalya: shopping, a stroll by the sea, lunch with friends who live in the city or a business meeting.

For a day trip, book both directions and agree the time you want to be collected for the ride back to Kemer. For a hotel change, remember that check-out is usually in the morning and new rooms are mostly ready in the afternoon; ask your Konyaaltı hotel about a luggage room or early check-in.
