Fethiye to Lara Transfer

Fethiye to Lara is roughly 210 km, and the drive generally takes about 3 hours 30 minutes. The usual way runs inland: the road leaves the Fethiye coast, crosses the high plateaus of the Taurus mountains and comes down into Antalya from the north-west. From there the car continues across the city to Lara, the resort strip on the eastern side, known for its long sandy beach.

The part through Antalya is where time can vary most – on summer afternoons the city roads are busy. An earlier start usually means a calmer drive. If you need to arrive by a particular time, tell us and we will suggest when to leave.

Fethiye is about boat days, lagoons and mountain views; Lara is about easy beach days on soft sand, which many families with small children love. Splitting a holiday between the two gives you both. Lara is also handy for the final nights of a trip, since it lies close to the airport – handy when your flight home is early.

Hotels in Fethiye, Ölüdeniz or Hisarönü generally ask you to leave in the morning, and rooms in Lara are usually ready in the afternoon. With three and a half hours on the road, a morning pick-up lines up well. If you might be early, ask your Lara hotel about a luggage room or early check-in.

The car is reserved for you alone – no shared shuttle and no detours to other hotels. For 1–6 passengers a Minivan works well; the VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito takes up to 7 and is the more relaxing choice on a long journey; groups of 8–16 travel in a Mercedes Sprinter. Free child seats are fitted on request, so tell us the children's ages.
