Fethiye to Kaleiçi Transfer

Fethiye to Kaleiçi is about 197 km, and the drive usually takes around 3 hours 15 minutes (about 195 minutes). Rather than tracing the long coastline, the usual route heads inland over the mountains and reaches Antalya from the north-west, then continues through the city to the historic centre by the old harbour.

The final kilometres inside Antalya are the least predictable part. On weekday evenings and in high season the roads around the old town are busy, so a morning or early-afternoon departure from Fethiye tends to make the arrival smoother.

Kaleiçi is the walled old town of Antalya, with narrow, winding lanes, restored Ottoman houses and many small hotels and guesthouses. Some of these lanes are too narrow for vehicles or closed to traffic, so the car stops at the nearest accessible point to your accommodation.

We recommend asking your guesthouse in advance which gate or street is closest and whether someone can help with bags. Send us that information when you book and we will plan the drop-off accordingly. Light luggage on wheels is easier on the cobblestones than many heavy cases.

Guests usually come here for a few nights of history, harbour views and evening walks after a beach holiday in Fethiye. Rooms are often ready in the afternoon; if you arrive earlier, ask about leaving your luggage.
