Antalya to Faralya: what to expect
This is a long ride. We head west out of Antalya, climb over the Taurus mountains and come down towards Fethiye; after Ölüdeniz the road narrows and winds up along the cliffs to the village. Count on about 258 km and close to four hours.
Worth knowing before you book: Dalaman Airport sits only about 79 km from Faralya, around 95 minutes away, and if a suitable flight exists it is usually the smarter choice. Plenty of walkers and holidaymakers still land in Antalya, though, because the fare was lower, the flight was direct, they spent a week on the Antalya coast first, or a group booked together. For them, a private car straight to the guesthouse is the easy answer.
