Lara, close to the airport
Melas Lara Hotel is a 5-star hotel in Lara, the hotel strip that stretches along the coast east of Antalya city centre, not far from the airport. The distance from Antalya Airport (AYT) is about 14 km, and the drive normally takes around 20 minutes.
That makes this one of the shortest transfers on the Antalya coast. Lara lies on the same side of the city as the airport, so you are usually at the hotel entrance soon after leaving the terminal car park. For a city break or a long weekend, that means more time by the sea and less time on the road.

Departure day: a worked example
Even though the airport is close, leave a comfortable margin for check-in and security. Say your flight leaves at 13:00: a pick-up at around 10:00 covers the 20-minute drive and leaves plenty of time at the terminal. Check-out time is set by the hotel, so if your flight is in the evening, ask reception about late check-out. Be in the lobby at the agreed time; the driver comes to the main entrance.
