The transfer covers about 36 km and takes around 40 minutes. From the airport the road crosses the hills onto the Bodrum peninsula and then runs down towards Bodrum town; İçmeler is on the coast about 4 km from the centre.

One point to check: this is the İçmeler near Bodrum, not the resort of the same name near Marmaris, which is far from here and served from Dalaman. If your booking only says “İçmeler”, confirm which one before you fly.

Bodrum is a favourite for couples and long weekends. For two people the VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito gives a quiet, roomy ride with space for every suitcase; the Minivan (1–6) is the simpler choice, and groups of 8–16 travel in a Mercedes Sprinter.
