After leaving the Side area you drive west along the main coastal highway towards Antalya, passing the Serik turn-offs before entering Belek's resort zone with its golf courses and large hotels set back from the beach.
Belek's resorts are spread over a wide area, so your hotel's location makes a small difference. Summer afternoons and weekends can slow traffic slightly; otherwise it is an easy, quick journey. It is short enough that even a hotel change barely takes a bite out of your holiday day.
Timing a hotel switch
If you are ending one part of your holiday in Side and starting another in Belek, plan around the hotels' schedules. Check-out in Side usually happens before midday, while your Belek room is typically ready from the afternoon.
Some travellers leave right after check-out and leave their bags at the new resort's reception until the room is ready; others linger in Side and travel later in the afternoon. Check both hotels' policies, then choose the pick-up time — we will be at your Side hotel entrance at that time.
