Side to Alanya Transfer

The distance is about 66 km, and the drive takes around an hour. From the Side area the route joins the D400 coastal road heading east past Manavgat, then follows the shoreline through a string of beach resorts until the rocky peninsula of Alanya, crowned by its castle, comes into view. In midsummer the stretches through Manavgat and central Alanya can be slower.

Alanya itself is long and spread out, with hotels from Konaklı and the western beaches to the centre, Oba and Mahmutlar. Please give us your exact hotel name or address.

Splitting a holiday between Side and Alanya is a great way to see more of the coast. The smoothest plan is to leave Side around check-out time, usually late morning, and reach Alanya at midday. Rooms are usually ready in the afternoon, so ask reception to look after your bags and enjoy lunch or the beach in the meantime.

There is no luggage fee, so take everything you need – suitcases, pushchair, snorkelling kit. Tell us how many bags you have so the vehicle has enough space.

If you are staying in Side and simply want to see Alanya – the castle, Cleopatra Beach, the harbour and the Red Tower – book the morning ride there and a ride back at an agreed pickup time. You set the pace of the day, and the vehicle is booked only for your group. A late return in the evening costs the same: there is no night surcharge.

A tip for the day: Alanya's centre is hilly and the castle sits high above the town, so comfortable shoes and water make the visit more pleasant. Let us know your preferred drop-off point – the harbour, the beach or the centre – when you book.
