Alanya to Side Transfer

This transfer covers about 66 km and usually takes around 60 minutes. Leaving Alanya, the D400 runs west along the coast past a chain of beach resorts, then through Manavgat, where the turn-off leads down to the Side peninsula and its neighbouring hotel areas. Traffic leaving central Alanya on summer days can add a few minutes.

Side's hotels are scattered over Kumköy, Sorgun, Titreyengöl, Çolaklı and the surroundings of the old town, so an exact hotel name helps us bring you to the right door.

The ancient centre of Side, with its theatre and the Temple of Apollo by the sea, is largely closed to traffic. If you are staying or meeting someone inside the old town, the drop-off is at the nearest point a vehicle may reach; we agree it with you in advance on WhatsApp.

For a hotel change, plan the pickup around your Alanya check-out, typically by late morning. Rooms in Side are generally available in the afternoon, so most guests leave their luggage at reception and head to the beach first.

Staying in Alanya but curious about Side? Many visitors spend a day among the Roman ruins, the harbour and the shops of the old town, then watch the sunset at the temple. Book the outward ride and the return together, agreeing a pickup time for the evening. The vehicle is private, so there is no waiting for other passengers.

Side gets hot in the middle of a summer day, and the ruins have little shade, so many visitors prefer to arrive in the late afternoon and stay into the evening. Tell us your plan when you book and we work out sensible pickup times for both rides together, so you can make the most of the visit.
