Lara to Side Transfer

Lara and Side are about 76 km apart, and the drive usually takes around 75 minutes. From Lara, your driver joins the D400 heading east past the airport area, continues past the Belek turn-off and Serik, and leaves the highway for Side. Because Lara is already on the eastern side of Antalya, you avoid the city centre entirely.

In high summer the last stretch towards Side and Manavgat can be busier in the late afternoon, so an earlier start is often smoother. You are dropped at your hotel entrance or, for a day trip, as close to the old town as vehicles are allowed.

Side is one of the most rewarding day trips from Lara. The old town sits on a small peninsula: an ancient theatre, colonnaded streets and the columns of the Temple of Apollo by the harbour, with shops and cafés in between and sandy beaches on both sides. Many visitors spend a full day there and come back in the evening.

Some travellers begin in Lara, close to the city, and then switch to Side for a quieter beach week, or the other way round. A private transfer keeps it simple: all suitcases travel with you in one vehicle, with no shared shuttle and no stops at other hotels.

Check-out is usually before midday and new rooms are normally ready in the afternoon, so ask your Side hotel about early check-in or a luggage room and choose a pick-up time that suits.
