İzmir City to İzmir Airport (ADB) Transfer

From central İzmir to Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) it is about 19 km, normally around 25 minutes south towards Gaziemir. That sounds short, but city traffic is the real variable: weekday rush hours, the busy coastal roads around Alsancak and Konak and summer evenings can easily double the time. For an international flight, most airlines want you at the airport roughly 2–3 hours before departure — please check your airline's advice.

A worked example:

• Flight at 12:00 → aim to be at ADB around 09:30
• Drive of about 25 minutes, plus a buffer for morning traffic
• → pick-up at about 08:45

If you are staying across the bay in Karşıyaka or Bostanlı, allow extra time.

Your driver arrives at the agreed time at the hotel lobby or main entrance, or at the street address of your apartment. Around Kemeraltı and other pedestrian areas a vehicle cannot always reach the door, so tell us when booking and we will agree on the nearest convenient point.

Most hotels ask you to check out before midday. If your flight is in the evening, ask reception about a late check-out or a luggage room and book the pick-up for the time you actually need. Early-morning flights are no problem either: settle your bill the night before, keep your bags ready, and your driver will be waiting while the city is still quiet.

ADB has separate international and domestic terminals, so tell us your airline or flight number — or simply whether you fly abroad or within Turkey — and you will be dropped at the right departures door. It is a private transfer: no other passengers, no detours to other hotels.
