The Urla transfer covers about 42 km and usually takes around 40 minutes. After leaving the airport, the car passes İzmir and joins the motorway heading west towards the Çeşme peninsula; Urla is the first major exit, so you are off the motorway quickly. The biggest variable is İzmir traffic at rush hour; outside those times the drive is generally smooth, and late-night arrivals are often faster.

Urla is spread out: the old town centre, the seaside harbour quarter, and countryside estates and villas among the vineyards inland. For international flights, airlines usually advise being at the airport 2–3 hours before departure – check your airline's advice. Add the roughly 40-minute drive and some room for İzmir traffic. Example: for a 16:00 departure, a pickup in Urla at about 12:45 gets you to ADB around 13:30, with time to spare.
