İzmir Airport to Alaçatı Transfer

The Alaçatı transfer is about 78 km long and normally takes around 65 minutes. After leaving the airport and passing İzmir, the route follows the peninsula motorway westwards; Alaçatı lies just before Çeşme, so you leave the motorway a few minutes earlier. Expect longer journeys at İzmir rush hour and on summer weekends, when many city residents head for the coast.

Alaçatı has two faces: the old village with its stone houses, boutique hotels and lively evening streets, and the bay to the south, well known among windsurfers. Several lanes in the old centre are narrow, and some become pedestrian zones in the evening, so your driver will stop as close to your hotel entrance as possible and help you with your bags.

Airlines generally recommend arriving 2–3 hours before an international departure – check your airline's advice. With a drive of just over an hour plus a traffic buffer, an early flight needs an early start. Example: for an 11:30 departure, a pickup in Alaçatı at about 07:30 brings you to ADB around 08:45, comfortably on time.
