A last outing before an evening flight
Check-out is usually around midday, and an evening flight can leave a long, empty afternoon. The Düden Waterfalls are one of the easiest ways to fill it: Lower Düden, where the river tumbles off the Lara cliffs into the sea, is about 12 km from Antalya Airport, normally around 25 minutes by car. Upper Düden, in a shady park north of the city, is a little further away and a pleasant place to sit by the water.
Families like it because it is short, green and not too strenuous, and you are never far from the terminal.
Hotel, falls and airport in one trip
The simplest plan is one booking: we collect you and your luggage at your hotel, stop at the Düden Waterfalls and then drive on to the airport. When to leave the falls
Aim to reach Antalya Airport about 2–2.5 hours before departure. A worked example: your flight leaves at 21:00 and you would like to be at the terminal by about 18:45. Add 25 minutes of driving and a buffer of around 20 minutes for evening traffic, and leaving Lower Düden at about 18:00 works well. From Upper Düden, allow a little more.
In July and August, and on weekend evenings, the roads around Lara can be busy, so we would rather build in a few extra minutes than have you hurry.
