Dalaman Airport to Kalkan Transfer

From Dalaman Airport to Kalkan it is about 127 km, usually a drive of around 2 hours 15 minutes. Summer traffic, roadworks or the time of day can add a little, so we always plan with some margin. The route heads south-east: first towards Göcek and through the Göcek tunnel, then around Fethiye and onwards along the coast, with mountains on one side and the sea appearing again and again on the other.

Kalkan sits on a steep hillside above a small harbour, and much of its accommodation is in private villas spread across the slopes and the neighbouring areas. Lanes can be narrow and steep, so please send us the exact villa address or a location pin when you book. Your driver will take you right to the door, not to a central drop-off point in town.

After passport control and baggage reclaim, walk out into the arrivals hall: your driver will be waiting with a sign showing your name. We track your flight, so if it lands early or late the pick-up time moves with it, and waiting for a delayed flight is free. There is no night surcharge either, which matters on a route this long when many flights land in the evening.

This is a private transfer only – no shared shuttle and no detours to other hotels. After a long travel day, the car goes straight from Dalaman to your villa or hotel in Kalkan.

Most guests book the return to Dalaman at the same time as the arrival. Allow about 2 hours 15 minutes for the drive, plus time to be at the airport around 2–3 hours before an international departure – so leaving Kalkan roughly 4.5 to 5 hours before take-off is a sensible rule. Depending on your flight, Antalya Airport can also be an alternative from Kalkan; we serve both airports, so just ask.
