Dalaman Airport to Dalyan Transfer

The transfer covers about 29 km and usually takes around 35 minutes. From the airport the road heads west to Ortaca, the district town, and from there a quieter road runs south to Dalyan on the river.

Traffic is light most of the year; in July and August the stretch through Ortaca and the centre of Dalyan can be slower in the evening. Many hotels and villas sit along the river or on the edge of town, so the exact address helps the driver bring you right to the door.

When you come out into the arrivals hall at Dalaman Airport, your driver is waiting with a sign showing your name. We track your flight, so an early or late landing changes nothing for you: waiting for a delayed flight is free.

For the trip back, allow about 35 minutes of driving and aim to reach the airport two to three hours before an international departure. A pick-up around three to three and a half hours before take-off is a comfortable rule, with a little more margin in high summer.
