From Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV) to Yalıkavak it is around 55 km, and the trip normally takes about 52 minutes. After following the Güllük gulf past Güvercinlik, the route climbs onto the peninsula and cuts across its hilly interior rather than going through Bodrum town, then descends to the north-western shore where Yalıkavak's harbour opens up below.
