Bodrum Airport to Gündoğan Transfer

Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV) sits north-east of the peninsula, so the drive to Gündoğan is about 45 km and usually takes around 48 minutes. You follow the main road towards Bodrum along the gulf, then turn off before the town and cross the hills to the northern shore, where Gündoğan lies in its own sheltered bay between Türkbükü and Yalıkavak.

The last part runs on smaller roads that wind down to the sea, which is part of the charm: the bay feels quieter and more village-like than the busy south side of the peninsula. For an international departure, plan to arrive about 2 to 3 hours before take-off, but always check your airline's advice. Here is a worked example: for a 15:00 flight, a pickup in Gündoğan at around 11:30 gives the 48-minute drive plus a comfortable margin for summer traffic, putting you at the terminal well ahead of check-in.
