The ride to Antalya Airport
From Alanya town the road heads west along the coast, past Konaklı and Manavgat, to Antalya Airport: about 128 km, around 2 h 20 min. Summer traffic around the resorts can make it longer. On the way the scenery changes from Alanya's castle hill to the long resort coast of Side and Belek.
If you are still choosing flights, remember that Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport is much nearer, about 47 km or around 65 minutes away. Many people still fly from Antalya because of a direct connection, more departure times or a group booking, and this transfer is for them.
When to set off
Plan to be at the airport about 2–3 hours before an international flight and check your airline's advice. For example:
- Flight at 18:00.
- Arrival at the airport around 15:00–15:30.
- About 2 h 20 min on the road plus a small reserve: pick-up at about 12:45.
