Alaçatı to İzmir Airport (ADB) Transfer

The drive from Alaçatı to İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) is about 87 km and usually takes around 70 minutes. The motorway junction is just outside town, so most of the route is fast. What slows it down is summer weekend traffic heading back to İzmir and, now and then, roadworks.

For an international flight, aim to be at the airport roughly 2–3 hours before departure (always check your airline's advice). A worked example:

• Flight at 13:00 → arrive at ADB around 10:30
• About 70 minutes of driving plus a 20–30 minute buffer
• → pick-up at about 09:00

On a summer Sunday or at the end of a public holiday, add a little more.

Many of Alaçatı's boutique hotels are tucked into narrow stone lanes in the old town, where vehicles cannot always reach the door, especially in high season. Tell us your hotel when booking and we will agree on the nearest point a vehicle can reach; reception staff can usually help carry bags there. Hotels around Port Alaçatı, by the windsurf beach or in the countryside are easier — the driver comes straight to the entrance. For villas, please send a location pin on WhatsApp.

If your flight is in the afternoon, ask reception about a late check-out or a luggage room. For a dawn departure, pay your bill the night before so you can simply walk out at pick-up time.

From Alaçatı the motorway heads east past Urla towards İzmir and the airport. ADB has separate international and domestic terminals, so let us know your airline or flight number and you will be dropped at the correct departures door. The transfer is private — only your party, no stops at other hotels.
