Çıralı is a quiet village behind a long beach, just past the southern end of the Kemer coast. At one end of the bay lie the ruins of ancient Olympos, and on the hillside above the village the Chimaera flames burn out of the rock, as they have since antiquity. The village sits away from the main coastal road, so the last part of the journey is a descent from the highway. From the airport the car skirts Antalya, passes the Konyaaltı shore and heads south along the coastal highway through Beldibi, Kemer town and Tekirova, with the Taurus mountains on one side and the sea on the other.
